MISSION:

MISSION:

The Dr. William D. Breck Library at Strong School strives to be a welcoming place where students don’t just pick up resources, but use the space to collaborate, innovate, and create projects that demonstrate their learning. It is a place of academic study, but also a place for students to peruse the shelves and displays, looking for their next great read.

Student supports available in the library

The library is the hub of the school and as such, students drop in throughout the day, from 7:45 until 3pm, when they have various questions and needs.  Some of our regular services include:
  • Chromebook lending (Daily loaners must be returned by the end of the day.)
  • Chromebook repair (If the librarian can't fix it, a form is filled out by the student and their chromebook is sent to our IT department.  We issue a long-term loaner to the student to keep until they get theirs back.
  • Finding the right book to read.
  • Satisfying students' information needs.
